We hope that you can join us for a leisurely stroll or for the more energetic a run around the Andy Brown Parks in Coppell. The course is divided into sections of 1 Mile, 2.75 miles and 5.25 Mile Loops around the Andy Brown East, Central and West Parks.
Our objective for the walk is increase awareness about Skin Cancer and also raise funds for Melanoma research at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. We offer refreshments after the walk and their will be raffle drawings and door prizes. Goody Bags and T-Shirts for those participants in the walk. So join us for some fun while helping to raise awareness about this deadly disease.
There is no fee to participate. However, we hope that each walker will be inspired to raise at least $50 in pledges. For your convenience you can register online and make your donation.
The photo below shows the actual course and you can set your own pace and distance.

This is the aerial view of the Andy Brown Parks showing the course. You can either complete a 1 mile loop around the first pond and baseball fields back to the Recreation Center or for the more enthusiastic you can continue across the bridge and complete the 2.75 loop around all three ponds and the baseball diamonds arriving back at the Recreation Center. For those intent on getting a more substantial workout you continue past the baseball diamonds, across the walk bridge, past Andy Brown Central Park and then proceed underneath the Denton Tap Road bridge and complete a loop of Andy Brown West Park finishing at the Recreation Center.
This provides a scenic tour of the parks and is really a pleasant walk with views of the pond wildlife and the baseball games that will be in progress during our walk.
We hope to see you there!
