Our Mission encompasses these fundamentals; to fund research studies and clinical trials, to advance education, awareness, screenings and treatment to eventually eradicate Melanoma Cancer. To assist families facing a catastrophic illness find the appropriate resources to gain access to hospital programs and services.

June 7, 1977 - March 10, 2005
Our family established The Bradley O'Martin Melanoma Foundation in December of 2005, after we experienced the tragic loss of our son Brad (27) to Melanoma. As painful as that situation was we decided that we needed to find a positive outcome for this tragedy. We quickly realized that we were not alone and that the public had very little understanding about Skin Cancer and little attention was focused on the harmful effects of sun tanning. |
June 11, 2010 - "Mulligans for Melanoma" Celebrity Golf Classic The "Mulligans for Melanoma" Celebrity Golf Classic is a great way to help support this worthy cause and have some fun at the same time.
The four-person scramble tournament will kick-off at 1:00pm with a chance to play 18-holes of golf with local celebrities. It will feature a post-tournament awards dinner, live and silent auctions, raffles, and numerous contests, including several cars for holes-in-one, putting, chipping and closest-to-the-pin contests.
A few of the celebrities who will play are former Dallas Cowboy players Walt Garrison, Billy Joe Dupree, and Robert Newhouse, Barry Foster of the Pittsburgh Steelers, and local actor/comedian from Blazing Saddles, Burton "Bubba" Gilliam, just to name a few. We want this to be a fun event, and we want to spread the word about skin cancer.
